Children's Hand Chain Scarf
Put away the crochet skills for just one pattern and take a look at this Children's Hand Chain Scarf. I know you don't believe me, but this crochet scarf pattern is worked up with your hands! How unique is that? Not only are you making an adorable scarf for your little girl, but you also make it entirely with your own two hands instead of with crochet hooks. To me, that make this scarf pattern extra special, extra fluffy, and extra cute. Your little one will love this accessory, especially as they are going back to school this fall.

Notes
This scarf is a chain that is made by hand rather than with a crochet hook. Use the palm of your hand to measure each chain so that the chains will be consistent in size.
Scarf
Unwind the ball of yarn and lay it flat on the floor or table. Take one end of the yarn and match up with the opposite end, doubling your yarn. Using your hand and doubled yarn, make a slip knot leaving a 5 (12.7 cm) tail and adjust loop to width of your hand. Pull yarn through the loop to form a chain. Using the palm of your hand to adjust the size of chain. Continue to pull yarn through each chain formed until you reach 40 (101.6 cm). Tie off. Knot each end three times and trim remaining yarn.
