I thought I've seen and heard of all the yarns out there, until I came across Frabjous Fibers and their Wonderland Yarns. Oh my goodness, this yarn is amazing! Per Frabjous Fibers "We donate a portion of our profits to educational programs in Nepal, and help to purchase necessary equipment for cooperatives. Frabjous Fibers offers “something different” for your shop to help give you an edge." Man, they weren't kidding.
The Wonderland hand dyed yarns are fabulous; they're soft, light and have super fun names, but we'll get to that in a minute. Many of their yarns like "March Hare" are 100% Superwash Merino, which is great for sporting sweaters and beautifully handmade crochet patterns. The line of "March Hare" is a worsted weight yarn with approximately 184 yards per skein. With over 60 colorways to choose from, you'll have quite the difficult time picking just a few.
With fun names inspired by Alice in Wonderland (hence Wonderland Yarns), you will want to buy them all. There are colors like Off with Her Red, Unbirthday, Caterpillar, Plum Cake, Eat Me, Drink Me, Tea Tray and so much more. Frabjous Fibers got really creative when coming up with the colors and their names; they wanted to bring joy and a smile to your face while you work up your newest crochet project.
What you might enjoy about this yarn is that it is hand dyed and spun in the U.S., so you can feel good about it when working with it. And the fact that they create well paying jobs that are safe and reliable for those in Nepal and India will make you feel good, too when you purchase a skein. You can machine wash your items in cold water, but to ensure a longer life it is recommended to hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry.
Once you've worked with the 100% Superwash Merino yarn you'll want to work with the Uncommon Nonsense variegated yarns as well as the Luxury Blends. You'll easily be brought back to your childhood when you look at all the yarn colors and names; you'll want to buy them all!
