You can experiment with different size yarn and hooks to make your Ladybug in different sizes. Also feel free to use different materials for the Ladybug spots. For Ladybug spots I’ve used tiny round buttons, mini buttons in a shape of a heart, beads and crocheted small black circles. Pattern is for Ladybugs in two sizes – small and large."

• cotton crochet thread size 10 in black
  
• black beads of your choice for Ladybug spots (I was using black 11/0 glass seed beads)

• beads of your choice for Ladybug eyes (I was using pearl beads 4 mm in silver)
