Kate Basket

"The basket makes a very hand project for around the home. It is also a great up cycling project if you upcycle your old t-shirts! Skills you will need: You will need to be able to work the following stitches for this one: sc fpdc BPDC dc chain ❤ LAYOUT: Our patterns all share the same layout which is easy to read and easy to find important information you need, such as materials needed, sizing information, gauge information, and special stitches used as well as how to do them. These stitches often come with an accompanying video for further clarification. We have linked appropriate video tutorials in this pattern, ❤ SIZE: Using a 12mm hook my basket was 6.5” in diameter by 4” in height Using a 15mm hook my basket was 10.5” in diameter by 6.5” in height – my testers found that when they did one of each they nested perfectly! If you would like to adjust the size of this basket you can use a different weight yarn and a smaller hook. ❤ MATERIALS: I used Hooked Spaghetti and a 15mm hook for the grey basket and Paintbox recycled t-shirt yarn and a 12mm hook for the white one. Both look great!"
