Squishtastic Beanie

"Say hello to your new "go-to" hat! This hat is my absolute favorite to make because it works up quickly, has an easy stitch pattern to memorize and uses only one skein of Lion Brand Heartland yarn. It's squishy, warm and works up so quickly that you can make a bunch to fit the colors of your wardrobe. This beanie measures 11.5” tall x 20” circumference / 29 cm x 51 cm circumference but is easily adaptable to any size. On the website there is a link to a hat template that will help with measuring from Preemie to Adult Large. There is also a graphic that helps with determining the circumference and length for common sizes. The Squishtastic Beanie uses just one skein of Lion Brand's "Heartland" Worsted #4 weight yarn for the Kid - Adult sizes and 50 - 200 yds / 51 - 183 m for the Preemie to 2T-3T sizes in DK #3 weight yarn. The stitches used are Half Double Crochet, Front Post Double Crochet, Back Post Double Crochet and Single Crochet. This pattern is available to view for free on my website and has been tested. Crochet GaugeGauge is not critical in this project, as the hat can be measured as you go along, but gauge will affect yarn usage.
Kid to Large Adult in #4 worsted weight yarn with I / 5.5 mm crochet hook, 11 reps of pattern = 4” / 10 cm
Preemie to 2T-3T in #3 DK yarn with G / 4 mm crochet hook, 7 reps of pattern = 2” / 5 cm

Finished Size(Sm Adult) 11.5” tall x 20” circumference / 29 cm x 51 cm circumference; adaptable to any size
