Just a Jack O' Lantern Applique
The Just a Jack O' Lantern Applique from Red Heart Yarns is so simple, but can make a shirt seem brand new. All you have to do is work up the eyes and mouth sections and then sew them onto a t-shirt. Voila! You can make a nifty t shirt in seconds that your kids can wear for all the months of fall, not just Halloween. Maybe you can convince them to be a pumpkin for Halloween, though, to make it even easier for you! Turn it into a party with your kids and their friends and make multiple at a time.

FINISHING
For best results, lay tee-shirt flat and insert a piece of cardboard inside and smooth the shirt front. Referring to the photo, pin Eyes and Mouth to upper middle portion of shirt. Carefully hand-stitch pieces using matching thread, being careful not to pull the thread too tightly in order to prevent puckering.
