Special Techniques Adjustable ring method Holding the yarn a few inches from the end, wrap around your finger. Round 1: 6 sc in ring; pull tight to close; slip st in next st. Fasten off. Horn (Make 2) With D, make adjustable ring. Round 1: 5 sc in ring; pull tight to close; place marker at beginning of round 5 sc. Rounds 2-3: 2 sc in next st, sc in each remaining st around 7 sc. Round 3: Repeat Round 2, changing to E in last st 8 sc. Rounds 4-5: Repeat Round 2, changing to D in last st or Round 5 10 sc. Rounds 6-8: Repeat Round 2, changing to E in last st of Round 9 13 sc. Fasten off.

Assembly Stuff Horns with Fiberfill. Using photo as a guide, position Horns on sides of Hat and sew in place. Sew black parts of eyeballs to white parts. Sew white parts to Eye Fronts. Sew Eye Fronts to Eye Backs - 1/4 of the way around. Place left and right Eyes together on top of Horns. Complete sewing Fronts to Backs between Eyes and left to right at centers. Continue attaching Eyes to Hat around bases of Eyes. Attach Claws to Spats. Weave in all ends.
