Notes:
The hat is worked from the top down in joined rounds.
The cocoon is worked from the bottom up in joined rounds.
When working both the hat and cocoon, the beginning ch-2 will not count as a stitch.

Ch 4.
Round 1: 10 dc in the first chain, sl st to the first st to join. (10 sts)
Round 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in each st, sl st to the first st to join. (20 sts)
Rounds 3-6: Ch 2, dc in each st, sl st to the first st to join. (20 sts)
Round 7: Ch 1, sc in each st, sl st to the first st to join. Fasten off. -
