DIY Mini Crochet Christmas Wreath
Make a DIY Mini Crochet Christmas Wreath with this free crochet Christmas pattern. This makes a great tree ornament or gift topper for the holiday season. Crochet Hook4.5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Materials:
- Small Ball of Green, Red, White, or any Christmas yarn (worsted weight)
- Crochet Hook 4.50 mm (Or any size to obtain gauge) Wire (At least 12 Inches) Scissors
- Optional: Bells (At least 10), Sewing Needle, Thread
Stitches Used: Chain (ch) Slip Stitch (sl st) Single Crochet (sc)
Instructions:
Fold the wire in half and twist the wire near the top. This will create the hole that can hang on a hook. Take the two ends and twist them together while bending the wire in a circular form. This will be the shape of the wreath.
Make a slip knot and rest the wire on your hook. Pull up a loop, yo and pull through. This will lock the yarn on the wire.
Row 1. Sc 3 times around the wire and ch 3. Repeat this until the whole wreath is full of 3 sc’s and ch 3’s. Sl st in the 1st sc and fasten off.
Optional:
Thread your needle and weave the bells through the wreath going back and forth through the stitches. You may place the bells in any place and order. Fasten off.
