Magic Ring Instructions
-
Take the tail of your yarn and wrap it around your fingers 2-3 times.
Pro Tip: It may be easiest to start with 3 loops around your fingers until you get more comfortable with this method. -
Go through two of the three wraps with your hook, and then hook the farthest piece of yarn and bring it back through.
-
Hold that loop in your fingers that you created and then begin working your pattern. You will secure that loop with your first set of chains.
-
Your stitches are going to be worked into that loop or "ring" that you have created.
-
When it comes time to tighten up your work, simply pull the tail end of your magic loop and you can bring it together.
-
When it comes time to end your ring, you will just want to slip stitch into that first loop.
