"Enjoy comfort and style on a warm sunny day in this textured handmade skirt. The Catalina skirt has an intricate wave pattern with zigzag hem. The flowing coastline colors are reminiscent of the rugged coastline of Catalina Island. This pattern is adaptable so can be made in a preferred size and length. It's a simple four row repeat and works up quickly and easily. Yarn Bee Sugarwheel Cotton (light weight; 100% cotton) in City Beat. 650 yards. You will need crochet hook size 7 – 4.5mm and a yarn needle to weave in ends. Gauge: 12 single crochet x 17 rows = 4". This pattern uses US terminology. Stitches and Terms Used: Chain (ch), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), back loop only (blo) Construction: The skirt is worked sideways in rows as one piece then closed at the seam. This pattern is a 4-row repeat. This skirt can be made shorter or longer by adding or subtracting a multiple of 12 from the foundation chain.
