Color Lovers Crochet Afghan
Cozy up by the fireplace with this Color Lovers Crochet Afghan. A variety of different colored yarn is used to work up this pretty pattern by Bernat. Use the recommended colors shown here, or use your imagination to create your own color scheme. It measures approximately 45 inches by 60 inches (excluding the fringe), so it's just the right size to wrap around you as you curl up with favorite book. This intermediate crochet afghan pattern is worked sideways using bulky weight yarn. Choose from two versions.

Notes: Afghan is worked sideways.
Always start each row with RS facing.
Leave 7" [18 cm] yarn tails at beg and end of each row. These tails will be worked into fringe.
Ch 2 at beg of row counts as hdc.

Fringe: Cut yarn 14" [35.5 cm] long. Take 2 strands of appropriate color tog, fold in half and knot into fringe, taking yarn tails from Stripe Pat into fringe across ends of Afghan. Trim fringe evenly.
