Discover some of the cutest crochet patterns ever inside Kristi Simpson's pattern book, Sweet and Simple Baby Crochet. Inside, you'll find 35 super cute crochet designs written for newborns to 12 months. There are patterns for both boys and girls and include a variety of items such as crochet headbands, diaper covers, crochet afghans, sweaters, and more.
Although the skill levels for some of these patterns are for intermediate crocheters, this pattern book was actually written with beginner crocheters in mind. Kristi Simpson has included everything that a crocheter will need to know in order to work up these cute crochet designs. Each pattern has multiple large color photographs and easy to read step-by-step instructions. Additionally, there are photo tutorials at the back of the book in the Stitch Guide and a section Simpson wrote called "How to Read My Crochet Patterns," which explains the basics of reading her crochet patterns. The "Finishing Touches" chapter includes everything you need to add a nice finishing touch to practically any pattern such as weaving in the ends, adding fringle, tassels, pom poms, and more.
There's no doubt that you will want to make each and every crochet pattern inside Sweet & Simple Baby Crochet. If I were to personally pick a few favorites, I would have to choose the Peapod Hooded Cocoon (pg. 42), the Puppy Hat (pg. 64), and the Woodland Blanket (pg. 70). Whether you have a little one of your own at home, or you are searching for the perfect crochet pattern to make for an upcoming baby shower, the original crochet patterns you'll find inside this 118-page book will definitely have you reaching for your hook right away.
