• Light pink dk weight yarn (MC), light yellow dk weight yarn (CC). Only a small amount of yarn is needed for the hat, but if you’re making the blanket as well you’ll need about 2-3 skeins of each color, so you can use the leftovers for the hat.
• 4mm crochet hook – I used a slightly larger hook than the recommended size for the yarn I used in baby items because I like them to be especially soft.
