Outdoor Table Mat

"If you have a patio table, or other outdoor seating area, then this outdoor table mat pattern is the perfect thing to crochet for sprucing up the table and dining al fresco. Perfect for prettying up houseplants placements. For this outdoor placemat crochet pattern I wanted to make sure that we used materials that would hold up to wear. I didn’t necessarily want to use cotton yarn – but you could if you want to! Especially if you plan to use these inside or under a planter as I have or as a decorative top to a side table, etc. To test this theory, I whipped a couple up using both Dishie and raffia. Dishie is my favorite 100% cotton yarn. It did come out slightly smaller than the ones worked with raffia. "
