Heart Ornament Free Pattern
Use a granny heart pattern like this one to make a heart ornament. Make one with this free crochet pattern or make many. Attach them on a string and make a fun decorative garland for Valentine's day.
Crochet Hook7 or 1.65 mm hook (steel)
Yarn Weight(0) Lace (33-40 stitches to 4 inches). Includes crochet thread.

This is an adaptation of an existing project, and I am so glad this designer acknowledges this with a link to the original pattern. In fact, thats the only way you can get the entire pattern as this post only contains the adjustments. I followed the link to the original, captured that, then returned to the post above. This project is far too pretty to limit to Valentines Day. These are going on my Christmas tree next year.

This is so sweet. I read the pattern and it's so easy, it's crazy. I should be able to make up a couple tonight. And you can make different colors. Pink in the center, red with white in the center, pink with white in the center, and so on. The possibilities can go on indefinely. I can see this with a square edge and made into an Fghan or pillow. Thanks for sharing this.
