I live in a warmer climate now and sometimes all you need is a poncho. I have grown to love hoods because you can just slip them on when it gets a bit windy which it does along the river where I live. You just have to make two panels which makes it simple. Also the designer gives you a choice on the hood construction. Thank you for the pattern.

I love the look of this Oversized Hooded Poncho Pattern. It is so easy with the easy to follow pattern and with the repeat rows it can look great. Making two panels and a hood, it couldn't be easier. The written pattern doesn't tell you when to change colors so I wonder if the yarn used changes colors? But that's okay, you can just change colors at the end of every 6 rows or so. Or just make it one color. I have saved this one and will be making it for the fall. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

I love ponchos because for me they are so glamorous. This Oversized Hooded Poncho Pattern is perfect because it's not very often that I encounter a poncho with hood in crochet patterns. This one is definitely going into my bucket list. Can't wait to start this project.
