I can always use another hot pad. This one is so cute that I bet it will get pilfered by the grand kids one the first time they visit and see it.

This pattern came with some notes on how to make chocolate chip cookies. Yummy! I see that the "chips" are made at the same time by changing yarn. I wonder if it would be easier to embroider chips after the cookie has been made?

My sister loves chocolate chip cookies, so I know shell love this addition to her kitchen. The project is just a flat circle, but I am a little confused by the designers choice of stitches. I cant see the advantage of using BLOs, or going to the trouble of changing colors mid-stream for the chips. To me, it would be easier to embroider the chips rather than having to weave in all those extra ends.

I love making things like this to customize and use in my kitchen. I am a chocolate chip cookieaholic too so these caught my eye right away. Cant wait to get started on a couple of these. Now I am motivated to make real chocolate chip cookies. Love this idea. Great pattern.
