Faux Fruit Wreath Decor

Wreaths are commonly made with leaves and branches, but this Faux Fruit Wreath Decor pattern is something fun and new. My first thought is something for a school teacher to hang on their classroom door, but it would look fun and fresh on your home front door as well. The red apples stand out on this crochet wreath pattern and capture attention in the best way. They are just so cute and can be made perfect for spring, summer, or fall. Leave it up on the door as a three-seasoned homemade decoration!

With the weather being so hot right now, no one is thinking about going back to school yet. This would be a great door decoration for teachers door.

This faux fruit wreath is simple and would be a great door decor. It feels like it is missing something. Perhaps an addition of a ribbon would jazz this right up. This is perfect for the coming fall when apples begin to fill the trees.

I love this clever use of amigurami! Half my family members are educators, and I know they would love to receive this instead of the usual teacher gifts. The yarn colors can be changed to reflect different varieties of apples. I would make the leaves a bit larger, but the size of the apples themselves are perfect. If not the entire wreath, just a single crocheted apple would make a wonderful little bean bag or juggling ball. Mmmm, Im thinking of all sorts of teaching tools!
