Shelby's Slouchy Beanie
Shelbys Slouchy Beanie

"The texture created in Shelby's Slouchy Beanie is made using a series of shell stitch and back post crochet stitches! This design is super cute and would make the perfect addition to any winter ensamble. It's perfect for adding a nice pop of color to your wardrobe. This hat is made using a J 6.00mm Crochet Hook and 2 different colors of worsted weight yarn! The button detailing is optional, but, it definitely finishes off the hat just right!"

I always expect Lavender Chair projects to be unique and this hat lives up to my expectations. Despite its appearance, the construction itself isnt that hard. There are a number of Special Stitches, and if youre not already familiar with them, the hot link in the explanation will take you to a tutorial. Although this hat is designed with color changes in mind, working using a long ombre or even a cake might be interesting.

This slouchy beanie hat has a look very similar to the crocodile tears stitch, but most likely without all the headache. What a beautiful hat for any woman in your life. Indeed a great Christmas gift to make for any of your girlfriends. Personally, I think the colors are great-neutral with a touch of a pop of color but not TOO colorful for those who fear it!
