Kirsten's Favorite Crochet Hat
Kirsten's Favorite Crochet Hat pattern is everything you have been looking for in a winter crochet hat. The earflaps are flat instead of being bulky and obnoxious, and the cute tassels add a little bit of personality if you only use one color. Quick to work up, the Kirsten crochet hat can be as stylish as you want it to be, especially if you use such a radiant color. The emerald shown is definitely our favorite, but any bright accessory is always a refreshing sight in the bleakest winter times.

Knstottmeister, you might be using a bad yarn type. If you go a size smaller in yarn than what the author of the pattern used, your end result will turn out smaller. Also, some different types of yarn will be tighter than others like wool and cotton will turn out smaller than if you used synthetic or something softer.

I love how this pattern looks, but every time I tried to make it turned out baby size when I followed the instructions. Help?
