This ocean breeze crochet wrap is very lovely. The shade of blue is so calming and reminds me of the cool nights. The design is feminine and looks really light weight. Not for those cold frosty winters but just enough for a cool evening.

I really love how the colors pair nicely with each other,as well as the stitch pattern.I absolutely heart lace patterns because they are so quick to work up, but look delicate especially when paired with a light yarn. I really adore the yarn chosen as well. Knit Picks Capra is a great quality yarn, that is a blend of merino wool and cashmere which makes it soft to work with. Because it is a lightweight yarn and and uses the soloman stitch pattern, even with the wool, it would still be a good wrap for the warmer months.

Each time I surf All Free Crochet, I learn something new. I had never heard of any variations of "Soloman's" knot. This crochet stitch is very feminine and will definitely give any garment a nice light-weight item. I have soo many irons in the fire now I'll just have to save this one for later.

So light and pretty and great for the slighter cooler evenings we are having as summer begins to fade here in South Africa. The soft blue color is absolutely gorgeous AND it looks like I will be learning how to crochet a Solomons Knot, yay! I am going to be making it a bit bigger but that is going to be a simple change and if it looks beautiful when I have finished it I will upload a pic, lol!

An interesting stitch- Solomon's Knot- used in the "Ocean Breeze" crochet wrap. I tried it and it's kinda fun! It is so light and airy. It wraps beautifully. Not hot at all. However, it is definitely enough for a cold movie theater or restaurant. I applaud the designer for her skills in constructing this wrap for us and giving it as a free pattern. Try this one!
