This is a gorgeous wreath, but so fiddly as youre constantly dropping and picking up yarn to create the individual candy canes. Basically, the instructions call for you to create a number of tubes in a specific pattern, then insert chenille craft stems, close and bend to form the cane. The Styrofoam wreath is wrapped with white ribbon, then a crocheted band is wound around. Ill have to think about whether I want to take the time for this one.

Last year I started something new. I put candy cane lights on my tree along with just red and white lights. The ornaments had to be red or white but preferably candy theme of red and white swirls. I even found a tree topper in that design but no wreath so I just stuck some candy canes in the green wreath instead. Now this year I will have the real candy cane wreath on the door in I will wind some battery operated tiny red and white lights thru it.

The instructions confused me about changing the color until I realized that I needed to change the color during last yarn over...
