I know this cami will work up fairly quickly due to the type of stitch used in the pattern. Anything that is an open weave or mesh design will do that. It looks very nice! Suitable over your bikini top, or in the winter over a simple tunic to add some feminine flair. It will look stunning in a sparkly black or a dark eggplant or plum color, with color matched ribbons on the side.

This is very pretty. Simply soft is one of my favorite go to yarns. It really is as the name states, soft. The directions for this is easy to follow and it doesn't take much yarn to accomplish this project. So it's easy, pretty and inexpensive to make. That fills my requirements.

Tried this craft? What did you think?

This lacy top is very pretty. I really like the lacy edging on the bottom. The directions show that the item is an intermediate level and I hope I can make it look as tailored as the designer.

What a lovely top! Both my daughters like wearing this style of white top over a solid colored tank top and it looks so nice together! I really like the scalloped hemline. It sure adds a feminine touch! I also noticed the lacing on the side. It adds almost a folksy flavor. I'll be adding this one into my "grow into" category on my "to make" list. It's so pretty! Thank you!

The inclusion of larger sizes is greatly appreciated. This floral cami is very feminine and can be worn multiple ways. During the summer month this will be a cute top on the beach and during winter, over a top but under a blazer.

The Floral Cami featured here is perfect for the hot summer months. The airy design will keep your body cool and the thin spaghetti strap is the perfect design to keep you cool and refreshed. The floral design on the hem gives the drama to the total look.

I don't know why no picture is showing for me. Just a small thumbnail of the recently looked at. There isn't even an empty space where a picture should be. It's so frustrating when I can't see what I may want to make. I tried different browsers and still nothing.

Hi mulberrygalprincess, We just switched up our templates a bit, so some of our images aren't showing up as they should - please bear with us! :) Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

I think the Floral Cami is adorable. My daughter like to wear camis with a top over it. This will be perfect. The scallops at the bottom is just so sweet. Making this yourself you can have a top that will last if you care for it correctly. Many tops that you would purchase like this would be made with cheap yarn and so light weight it wouldn't last. This is a pattern you will need in several colors. Printable is a plus!

Such a gorgeous cami! The pattern is so beautiful that I am not even intimidated by the Intermediate crochet rating, lol. Loving the photos from those that have already made it and for the tips shown in the comments. Thank you! Carons yarns are not available here in South Africa but I have found that my local yarn store is great at finding substitutes.

This is really cute. It looks like it would be really quick to make too. I am glad I read through the comments from people who have made this already. They mention the stitches for the lace pattern are staggered, not aligned. This is good to know ahead of time to avoid frustration while working on it. It would be helpful if a note regarding this was added to the pattern itself.

Oh thats cute. This one is going straight to the printer. I would like to make this for myself so I can have it for our Mothers Day weekend trip to the keys. Its the perfect top for that. I do think however that I will use cotton yarn for mine as acrylic is a little too hot for us even this time of the year.

First of all, thank you for providing multiple sizes for this crochet project. I really like this floral cami as it looks light weight and appropriate for spring or summer days. Thank you for the link to the video tutorial. I hope my cami will be as elegant as the designers.

Video for this pattern can be found here https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oC8w42Myk

I loved making thus. I found the bottom edge tricky, the shells would not line up straingt so I ended up drawing the pattern to see where I was going wrong. They don't line up - they stagger!

I am having a hard time with the lower edging. The shells don't line up right. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Is there a video to go along with this somewhere?

I have made this in both black and white and both turned out lovely! I will probably use it many times. Thank you for a lovely pattern!

is there any way to make this for a larger size? like a 2x or 3x? do I just add 12 more stiches to the pattern for each size up?

i am about to make this and have a question. I emailed the web site, but they directed me to the community. I will be using Caron Simply soft light and the girl is a size 32D. What adjustments do I need to make to the pattern?

hello! I am at the lower edging, row 3...what is a [dc,picot] (I know what a dc is, what is the picot part?) many thanks! Colleen

Oh, I see the Special Terms explains it...missed that before...

I made this and it turned out beautiful, I am new to crochet but managed to follow the pattern. I decided to join the seam all the way down instead of using ribbon. I intend to make a few more. Thank you for sharing this pattern .

I absolutely loved this cami. I did change it up a little and did it in a pink (my favorite color) and instead of using ribbon after seaming the sides together, I made a braided chain in a darker Pink and weaved it all the way down and made a bow. Going to make another in a blue of some sort.... I think... haha.

Will someone tell me what kind of yarn/thread was used for this pattern? Thanks!!

Caron simply soft, 2 balls, in white. I got the free flyer for this pattern at a craft store...

I love this pattern. I am stuck though after the first row. Please see my copy: turn19 (22, 25) ch-4 spaces, 20 (23, 26) dc. Row 2: Ch 8 (counts as dc, ch 4), * dc in ch-4 space, ch 4; repeat from * across, end dc in turning ch-space, turn. I am confused to this. Any simple clarification would help me proceed with this project. Thanks in advance.

its telling you that at the end of the row, you should have 19 chain 4 spaces and 20 double crochet stitches. then, to start the second row, you chain eight from your double crochet on the first row, turn and do a double crochet in the hole made by your chain four spaces in the previous row.

I need help..I am trying to do this Floral cami..when I read this [BACK and FRONT (both alike) Loosely chain 82 (94, 106). if I select 94 ch does it means that 47 chains for de back and 47 chains for the front?...when it says that 22 space of four ch most be when I finishe de first row, does it means that 11 are in the back and 11 are in the front?..please, can anyone help me?

You chain 94 for both sides.

you make chain of 82 for the FRONT side, and then when done with the pattern, you make another EXACTLY the same as the first, then the straps then sew both together.

I've made this, and it came out great. I didn't do the lacing, just joined the two sides together with sl and sc.

did you made it? can you help me?..I would like to know how many chains have I to do for the front and for the back?..as I read the instrutions they are separated...If I use 94 chains does it means that are 47 chains used in the front and 47 used for the back?..when they say that as soon I finished the first row, I must have 22 space of four chains, does it means that 11 are for the back and 11 are for the front?...I hope you can help me, pleae!"

If you are making the size medium, 94 stitches for each side, 94 for the front and 94 for the back, they are done exactly the same way.

I'm excited to get started on this today...the way I understand the instructions is only to join the side seams for 2 inches from the top (either with needle & yarn, or with crochet hook using sc) ..then when you lace the ribbon thru & tie at bottom that will complete your side seams..thats my take on it!

Have question for person or persons who have completed this pattern. Got front & back of the Floral Cami made..but stuck on joining sides and lacing. Do I start actually start joining, at side seam, 2 inches from top edge of cami? and what joining stitch did you use? I wish there had been a diagram for the lacing of the ribbon but guess I can figure this out.

I made the Crochet shrug and I thought it was easy. I love it.

I HAVE MADE SEVERAL OF THESE AND HAVE SOLD SOME TOO, I MADE THEM IN ALL DIFFERENT COLORS, THEY ARE SO EASY TO MAKE.
