One Hour Spiral Scarf

This boa-style scarf only takes about an hour to work up, and after some practice, you may even be able to work it up in less. The Net Yarn Spiral Scarf Pattern is a great project if you are just learning how to use net yarn. There is a video available, which is ideal for visual learners. Boa-style pieces are popular scarves for women, and would be a great addition to your inventory, if you're participating in a craft sale.

Wow my first thought was "What a mess!" But after trying this with the net yarn my daughter bought, I kinda like this pattern. I like trying new things and this is differently different. This is a unique yarn to work with for sure and I'm just not sure it's for me. Sorry but I like to work with a yarn that I don't have to unravel as I'm crocheting. This makes a slow going project but the look of the One Hour Spiral Scarf is nice. It took me a hour to figure out how to do as the video tutorial shows. This is just not for me, and I have 8 ball of this yarn. Ugg, I'll suck it up and use it making these scarfs for my daughter.. Thank you for sharing this free crochet spiral scarf pattern.

Its just a matter of each individuals likes, but I have never particularily cared for a spiral scarf. There is nothing wrong at all with this scarf or the instructions on how to make it but I just prefer a more traditional scarf for myself. I would make this as a gift for one of my friends though if they asked.

My sister bought an entire bag full of Red Heart Sashay yarn at the dollar store thinking it was used as is. Once I figured out it was actually a net yarn, I started looking for projects to match the yarn. This was one of the projects I made, and to be honest, I would NOT have even started it without the video and photo tutorials. This is the easiest way to work net yarn that Ive found, but you are limited in what you can make using this method.

I have made a lot of these scarves using Red Heart yarns and have had no trouble working around the "knot". If tied/sewn together tightly and trimmed closely, you don't even noticed where the join is when wearing. Thank you Red Heart for keeping your products affordable and great quality.

I make these but totally different. my comment is about the quality of your yarn. I have told people how wonderful Red Heart is BUT today I am beginning to wonder. I have purchased many, many skeins of your yarn for spiral scarfs and the last 4 or 5 have had knots where it has been tied together, which ruins the skein. They have been cut in the middle which renders them unusable. So I am very disappointed with your yarn and no longer can tell others how good Red Heart is for them to buy.

Purchased the yarn a while ago, and haven't used it yet. Thx for reminding me!

I love this and I am going to try to make some of them for my family and friends..
