Crochet scarves are just as perfect for spring as they are for the fall in winter - you just have to know how to style them! Luckily, a great crochet spring scarf, like this Emerald Green Skinny Scarf, makes that task fun and easy! The bold green of this pattern is perfect for the season, as things begin blossoming again. Aside from the spring green hue, this crochet scarf is worked up with a bulky weight yarn, but a thin construction (only three rounds!) makes it the perfect weight for the season. Some days are chillier than others and we all want a little bit of warmth and coverage, and this crochet spring scarf does that perfectly.

The stitch pattern for this Emerald Green Skinny Scarf is so attractive! I love the coarseness of the weave compared to the softness of the yarn. It seems so homey, earthy...so natural. Since I'm soooo short...only 5'2"... I may not make it as long as the pattern calls for but that's the beauty of handicrafts...adapting it to my needs! I also love, love, love that gargantuan wooden button. I must find one for my scarf!

This isnt at all how I expected this scarf to be worked! It is very, very long, but since its wrapped around your neck three times, it almost functions like a cowl. So my thought is why not seam the ends and make it one continuous loop? I love that extra piece thats designed to keep the loops in place. What a clever touch!
