Do u have any patterns that u can crochet a flowers, the flower goes through button whole for topper for towles. And for jbinkley 8441871, if u can't print it out copy and past it than u don't wast paper. Good luck.

Trying to print out this pattern was so frustrating. Why can't it be easier? And if and when I finally succeed to print it I wind up with extra pages I don't even need. Just want the pattern and not all the rest. It's a waste of paper and ink.

I know where you're coming from. They make it so hard to print some of them. Then if and when you do you wind up with extra pages of junk you don't even need. A waste of paper and ink. it's frustrating and sometimes I just forget it.

Instead of making holes, I just do a row of chain stich embroidery. Then I can crochet using that as a base, This works on either half a towel or in the center of a whole towel, folded in half Sarah

I recall seeing a special tool/needle for piercing the towel to make the foundation for the first row. Does anyone know where to buy it or what it's called?

This pattern isn't bad except it doesn't go nearly as far as I would like I am making my own pattern for this very thing but I have a towel that has already been cut in half I am going to be putting two of them together or you can crochet the one thickness if like me your towel has already been cut in half and stitched on a sewing machine to hem it and you can still get the yarn through the two thicknesses by using a steel crochet hook size It is a good size and will go through both sides easily You just need to crochet evenly across for the number of stitches mine was and then go from there to make the rest of the top by crocheting with sc's across the next row After that each time your chain or and turn for your hdc's or…Read More dc's always crochet in the next stitch over from your turning chain to decrease the number of stitches for that row When you reach the width that you want continue crocheting until you have the length you want it and tie off To finish it you can place a cute or whatever size of button you want to use and then button the finished towel around your drawer handle and you have a kitchen towel that you can wash in your machine as long as you use acrylic knitting worsted or cotton Wool will shrink and unless you want to be felted I would not use wool

I was extremely disappointed to say the least!! When I tried to get the photo to enlarge I could notsee it for the advertisment!! There was no "SHUT OFF" forthe other add and it was driving me crazy with the loud noise from it!! Waaaay ttoooooo many ads on this page to enjoy anything! June bonfield

The hardest part of any towel topper is the first row where you need to stitch into the terry cloth. I hope that this one is a little easier. I couldn't get a good look at the row of stitching from the small photo (even when enlarged). As usual, I'll just wing it and see if it works for me.

I use a smaller crochet hook, size 7 or 8 to do the first row. I fold my towels in half. I don't like a thin towel and this is the easiest way to get through two layers. I hope this helps.

The enlarged picture of the towel topper is too small for me to see what the 52 stitches look like that you sew on the folded towel to begin crocheting. Is it just a running stitch across? Thank you.
