unique and pretty

This is a great project to add to my crochet catalog. First off its easy to do. Secondly it's not expensive. Plus you make it one square at a time so it's a game along craft. And lastly it's very pretty. This will look great in my son's southwestern theme office.

I really love the particular color scheme that she has decided to use for the square. It is so serene and calming to me. How beautiful this would be as a baby blanket, and unisex too! Thank you for sharing another out of this world pattern for us to work up and enjoy.

I love this granny square pattern! When you read the blog post, you will see it is part of a crochet along with 20 squares. This would be amazing to follow the blogs and make the rest of the granny squares. At the end, you would have a beautiful crochet sampler afghan. This would be awesome to showcase your talents in your home, or give to a friend as an awesome gift.

This is an interesting Granny square and a good way to use that extra yarn. You can even do this square and use the colors in a different sequence. It looks complicated but is not difficult to do at all. I am going to make this square and do what I suggested. It should be an interesting looking blanket once you combine all the squares. Thank you.

You will find that this pattern is part of a blog hop CAL when you click the link to get the pattern and head to the bloggers site. There are ten patterns altogether on this CAL that will hop you to all ten of these very well known designers. I am sure you have probably already visited most of their blogs before.

Isnt it amazing how, just by applying some creativity to the same old stitches, you get an entirely different effect? I absolutely love the texture of this square, and my only complaint is that its just twelve inches. I would truly like to figure out how to extend the square into a larger afghan. Ill play around with doubling it first to see how the stitches work out.

I like the look of this Aztec Striped Granny Square. After reading the pattern I can say it is very well written and a easy read, the colors go well together. Sense I don't care to do Granny Squares, I'm think of multiplying the stitches by 4 or 6 and make a afghan with this pattern. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
