I made this afghan over the winter. While it looks difficult, if you keep your different colored yarn in order, it really is simple. Just make sure you keep track of what row you're on. I crocheted a border after I was finished in black and white. It looks great and I get a lot of compliments.

Pamela, could you please let me know if I could shrink your graph for Chicago Blackhawk afghan to make into a pillow? I love your pattern and did get it from you, but now everyone wants it and the only way I can satisfy everyone is to make pillows not afghans. Thanks
